Optimal Topological Storage Network Design with AMPL/CPLEX

Abstract: This research project involves designing storage networks according to existing network topologies using AMPL/CPLEX. Examples of topologies considered are the Core-Edge topology, the ring topology, etc.

Keywords:

AMPL/CPLEX is a combination of packages for formulating and solving integer programming. We have already successfully designed Core-Edge networks including an alternative data storage network for the Department of Engineering Science.
